This and That

To be frank, we haven’t been up to much outside of our ordinary routine, but at times that keeps us busy enough. I had to share a picture of this cake. Dave picked out an incredibly delicious brownie caramel cheesecake for my birthday, but, it was too small for the whole family so he was going to get something similar to go with it, when Joel spotted this cake. He was so proud of this cake. He beamed and said,”Isn’t it beautiful Momma!?!” I love that guy!

We have been plugging away at school and laundry etc., but we have also started decorating for Christmas and enjoying the advent season leading up to Christmas.

I haven’t forgot my list of 37 I tried a new recipe and it bombed. I felt so bad it was such a lousy supper I think some of the kids ending up having jam sandwiches. The next night I went with one of my families favorites (wasn’t my favorite growing up but my kids love it) Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and tossed salad. I decided to bake a cake too to make up for the night before. We also have taken some time for just having some fun…
