Proverbs 4:23

Above all else, guard your heart,
for it is the wellspring of life.

The heart is so interesting to me it is our life force that pumps blood to every inch of our body. It is guarded by our ribs. It is also seen as the center in each person of their emotions. If our ribs guard our physical heart what guards are emotional heart? There are so many things that can influence our emotions. I think this is why we are told to guard our hearts. For it is the wellspring of life. Wellspring; a source of unfailing supply. Unfailing supply of what? What is influencing your heart? What is flowing out of your heart?
