About Me

Let me introduce myself, I am Cheryl, a follower of Yeshua (Jesus), and Wife to the best guy (Dave) since 1997. We both greatly value community, and often share our home with others, usually that involves sharing a meal or at bare minimum a coffee.

Together we have 7 amazing kids, (one with special needs) and one wonderful daughter in law. We homeschooled them all (not the daughter in law) with 2 still schooling.

I consider myself a student too. I am enjoying learning Hebrew and see myself as a life long student of the Word.

I will grab any chance to be beside, on, or in the water. My favourite place in the world is Grand Manan.

I love the term Soul Shepherd, we have sheep and I have always gravitated to the references to sheep in the Bible. I trained with Sustainable Faith and graduated in May of 2026 from their Spiritual Direction Training Program. A Soul Shepherd and a Spiritual Director are the same thing but both terms kind of fall short to describe what they actually are. The Holy Spirit is the true Spiritual Director and in Him we live, move and have our being.  My role as a Soul Shepherd or Spiritual Director is to listen prayerfully and accompany you as you discover what that looks like, how you are uniquely created to live, move, and have your being in Him. Learning to see His fingerprints everywhere as you become aware of His presence and respond to His invitation.
