Family

When it rains it pours!

Another picture of Hannah and Bunny

Unbelievable. After our difficult day on Friday we had a busy day on Saturday, which all things considered was not to out of the ordinary. On Sunday morning we went off to church, and when we returned home we had a number of last minute things to get ready for the afternoon and evening. My Mom and Dad, Brother (Kyle) and friend of the family “Mr./Uncle Stephen,” were all coming over for dinner to celebrate Joshua’s birthday.
As I was busy in the kitchen Taliah comes in and tells me her, “Bunny is laying down kinda funny.” I tell her not to worry sometimes bunnies do that. I’m thinking she is paranoid after what happened to the guinea pigs. Mmmm, maybe 2 minutes go by and she is back with Bunny in her arms, “He is not hopping right.”
“Alright, put him on the floor and let me see him hop.”
She puts him on the floor and his hind legs slip to the side. He can’t put any weight on them and seems to have little control over them. He has control over his front feet but cannot hop at all.
I can’t believe this is happening, the kids are still hurting over their guinea pigs. Now, there is something seriously wrong with the Bunny. As it is a holiday today I have to wait until tomorrow to find out what is going on with him. I googled ‘rabbit can’t put weight on hindlegs’ and read about everything from arthritis to cancer.
Really I am having a hard time believing this. We have had next to nothing go wrong with our pets and in the matter of a couple days 2 die and one looses the use of his hind legs.
I am praying that it is something simple and Bunny will pull through it and that the vet won’t cost an arm and a leg, no pun intended.

I am planning on posted about Josh tomorrow so I should have a somewhat up post for a change…stay tuned.
