Proverbs 12:18

Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

I would love to say that I bring healing with my words every time I open my mouth but sadly it is not so. To often I fly of the handle with the kids, maybe they have made a mess or did not do as they were asked. Those are the times I have to turn around and humbly apologize.
You know, when I look back on my life its not the bumps and bruises that I remember what I do remember though are words spoken harshly or cruelly. It is true that they pierce deeply, so lets be careful with our words.
To quote a very famous fellow, “”If you can’t say something nice… don’t say nothing at all.“”
