Proverbs 21: 3

To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

This verse really deserves more time then I am going to give it today. One could probably write a book on what it means to do what is right and just. So where does one start perhaps with,

Jesus replied: “” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. (Matt. 22: 37-39)

Maybe for some that raises even more questions, but it is a starting point.

Sometimes we make sacrifices for God, family or church etc. God does not want our sacrifice if our sacrifice includes us sacrificing doing what is right and just.
