Things We're Doing

Life Marches On

May 10, 2009

Life has a way of moving on without us. I am not sure about you but if I am not careful things begin to pile up around here really quickly. The last few weeks have been incredibly busy hence my blog has been collecting some dust.

Near the end of April we headed to St. Catharines to visit Dave’s family and to go to OCHEC’s homeschool conference. We had to stop at The Bass Pro Shop on our way down.
It was so great to have time with family and friends. we had a fantastic time the first half of the week but on Thursday night Joel started in with a violent stomach flu. Hannah and Taliah started on Saturday in the wee hours of Sunday morning Joshua started. We headed home on Monday and I was not feeling to good by Tuesday I was doing awful. About a week later it hit Dave. Elijah was the soul survivor of the flu…maybe he was the carrier…hmm.

When we got back there were all sorts of things to catch up on; school, house work, etc. Not to mention soccer, horseback riding lessons and swimming lessons.

Of course I cannot neglect to mention that on May 3rd I had the privilege of celebrating my 12th Wedding Anniversary with my sweetie Dave!!
