Yes! Finally we bought a house. God is good! We had so many glitches along the way but He smoothed things out at not quite the eleventh hour but it was close to it. He even negotiated a lower price for us!!!

So on July 15th we will be the official owners of the above piece of country. I would love to tell you that it is 100 acres but it isn’t, it is almost 3 acres and surrounded by farmland. So we can finally have a big enough garden for all of my canning wishes, some chickens and tons of room for the kids to run around. Oh and the kids would want me to mention a dog!!! Most of that will have to wait until the spring though. I will be able to do a few things with the garden this year but any animals will have to wait until next year.

Wow we have been here for two years now and I am soo ready to be in our own place again. My family has been great and we have been so blessed to be here with them but we are all feeling ready for the next step! Our new place is less than a 30 minute drive so we will be able to visit each other lots. I think it will be strange for the youngest 2: Hannah was born here and Joel doesn’t remember anything before this house.

The count down officially begins….34 days to go!!! I’ll keep you posted!
