Proverbs 14: 30

A heart at peace gives life to the body,
but envy rots the bones.

I have no idea what rot in ones bones would be like, I can only hazard a guess that it is nasty. It certainly sounds awful. I can speak to envy and I know that any time it rears it’s ugly head in my life it doesn’t bring any good with it. There is no peace with envy we are best to not entertain it at all.
However, peace is a whole other story. Picture a relaxing chair in the shade on a beautifully warm day with a gentle breeze. Your favorite drink whether it is ice tea or a cola of some sort by your side. You are 100% relaxed you are at peace and it brings life to your body. When we don’t have time for this perfect setting where can we find peace? Jesus is the Prince of Peace, seek Him out and find a peace which passes all understanding.
